Das Foto erweckt den Anschein, es handele sich um ein gebrauchtes Exemplar resp. um eines ordentlichen Drucks. Dabei ist es dies nicht. Das dünne Heft scheint der Reprint der Ebook-Fassung zu sein, das Titelbild ist anders als angegeben der Scan einer Abbildung, die über dpi-Zahl gedruckt worden ist, dementsprechend ist das Titelbild grobst verpixelt. Dafür fast 20 Euro zu bezahlen, ist ein absoluter Witz; daheim hätte ich es der Materie entsprechend angemessener drucken können.Fazit: Ein schlechter Scherz.
I stumbled upon this book in search for old wisdom.It is a short translation of Miyamoto Musashi's work which is focused on his way of swordsmanship. Because he is very abstract about his way, it is his and the translators hope that the reader is able to abstract his "teachings" onto the battlefield or any situation between individuals or groups. This is a book you need to read several times and every time you read it you will gain more insights.This is a great work-out for the brain an a good read for anyone interested in tactics and strategy.
Wer mehr über die japanische Kultur und das Leben des Autors erfahren will ist hier genau richtig. Es ist zwar nicht immer leicht verständlich geschrieben, allerdings mit etwas Geduld eine super Lektüre!
Hab es als Geschenk für mein "Kendo Tochter" gekauft - und das Geschenk ist sehr gut angekommen. Sprich es hat ihr sehr gefallen. Was will man mehr.
Dieses Buch muss von jedem Kampfkünstler gelesen werden. Für alle anderen ist es auch interessant, wie der große Meister Miyamoto Musashi seine Art beschreibt. Echte Weisheit, die durch große Erfahrung entstanden ist. Und dafür kostenlos. Nicht zu verpassen.
The book is exceptionally thin, the cover image is badly pixelated and the text was just flown in with a nonchalant disregard to typography or design...
mir bekannten GN von Wilson, hat auch diese fuer mich keine Schwaechen. Die Geschichte ist grafisch und schreiberisch gut umgesetzt. Zwar koennten die Wilson-GN's etwas guenstiger sein, doch das ist nur meine persoenlich Meinung.
30% through the book, very straightforward and easy to understand so far, the knowlegde can be applied to many things metaphoricly speaking, great inspiration.
